FAQ
Some frequently asked questions about COD Delivery include.
What is the minimum delivery of discount COD oil?
If you have a furnace, a boiler, or another type of heating system, proper maintenance can keep your equipment running efficiently all winter long and lessen the likelihood of expensive surprise repairs.
We suggest an annual tuneup by one of our licensed technicians where we will check all aspects of your heating system, including electrical connections, voltage and current, fan belt, oil or gas connections (if applicable), and condensate drain. We will also test the ignition, the exhaust system, system controls, and carbon monoxide levels (if applicable). We will make minor adjustments when necessary and inform you of any problems that will need to be addressed to keep your system operating safely and effectively.
When will I receive my delivery?
When you place your order, you will be given an estimated delivery date, typically within 48-72 hours, under normal weather and operational conditions. This date may change in the event of inclement weather or other issues beyond our control.
What does “normal weather and operational conditions” mean?
Normal conditions assume roads are passable and your home is accessible. Extreme weather, equipment issues, labor shortages, or supply chain disruptions may cause delays. If so, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Do I need to be home when my delivery is made?
If your driver has access to your fuel tank, you don’t need to be home. New customers in some areas may need to be present for a brief inspection before the first delivery. If needed, we will inform you ahead of time.
What is a Prime?
Priming is required when your tank is nearly or completely empty. We bleed out any air or debris from the fuel lines to allow your system to operate safely and efficiently again.
Why can’t I cancel my order?
Order cancellations are a safety issue. If our driver attempts to fill a tank already serviced by another company, it could cause an oil spill. This is why cancellations are not allowed after dispatch.
Why did I not receive all the gallons I ordered?
Your tank’s usable capacity may be less than its stated size. We fill it to the maximum usable amount and refund or credit you for any undelivered portion of your order.
What can I do if I am out of oil and have no heat?
If you’ve run out of oil, place an order immediately and notify us that you need expedited service. We will prioritize your delivery as best as we can.
How can I pay for my order?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit/debit cards. We also accept cash—please provide the exact amount, as drivers cannot make change. Overpayments are credited to your account.
When will I be charged for my delivery?
You are charged when the order is placed. If you choose a specific amount, you’ll be charged for that. If you choose a “fill,” you’ll be charged for your tank’s full capacity and refunded if any amount doesn’t fit.
What happens if the price goes up before I receive my delivery?
You’ll be charged the price that was guaranteed at the time of placing your order. If the price increases later, your rate remains locked in.
